In the middle of the hectic hubbub that is the holiday season I wanted to write a quick post to thank everyone in the digital screenmedia industry for their efforts in making 2011 a year to remember.
Despite the challenging economic climate and the rise of new, game-changing technologies the industry has continued to grow and evolve with solutions that are positively impacting customer experiences and businesses’ bottom lines.
As our membership continues to grow and evolve as well, I’m reminded daily of the great people who have dedicated their time and company resources to creating, sharing, and building a strong community of experts. Their real-world, tactical insights makes the DSA a great forum to learn and collaborate whether you’re new to the space or have a decade under your belt.
To this end the DSA is planning on an even more eventful 2012 with further local meet-ups and networking opportunities. Keep your eyes out for information coming soon regarding a New York city DSA get-together to be held during the National Retail Federation show in January.
In addition we’ll be promoting our tools like the recently released ROI calculator, webinars, mobile forums, and of course our big spring industry event at Customer Engagement Technology World at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, March 28 and 29.
Most importantly, in this season of giving, I encourage you all to become more active in the DSA in 2012. Participate on committees, share and learn from others, collaborate and lead. It’s easy to do and our executive team and advisory board are looking for new ideas and fresh faces. Make 2012 the year you stake your claim in the industry.
