Frank Kenna III is CEO and President of The Marlin Company, which helps companies improve safety, employee morale, productivity and performance through its workplace digital signage products. Mr. Kenna is responsible for setting the company’s strategic direction and developing new ideas to help industry leaders implement workplace communication programs that motivate employees, change behavior, and improve profits.
Frank joined The Marlin Company, now in its third generation, in the mid 1980s at the beginning of the digital publishing revolution. At that time, Marlin’s core product was a print-based visual communication program. By the mid 1990s he saw the opportunity to transition the company’s print products to a digital model, distributing dynamic workplace content over the Internet.
Today the company has thousands of installations across North America, and has received two patents covering basic workplace digital signage technology. An expert in workplace communications, Mr. Kenna frequently speaks at industry events.
He is a board member of The Easter Seals Goodwill Industries Rehabilitation Center of New Haven, Connecticut and chairman of a group of Goodwill Stores in Southeastern Connecticut. He also serves on the board of the Connecticut Odyssey of the Mind, the state chapter of an international organization that helps develop children’s creativity.
Mr. Kenna has a BS degree in Business Management from Boston University’s School of Management. He and his wife live in southern Connecticut where he was born. They have two sons who live and work in New York City.
