Janet is currently an industry consultant focusing on strategies to improve the customer experience at Retail. She formed her company in 2009 and has worked with both large and small technology corporations to develop plans to support customer experience expectations and requirements through technology solutions. Creative Solutions Consulting, LLC also offers experienced facilitators/moderators to support corporate meetings and leadership programs.
Prior to establishing her consulting services, Janet worked for the U. S. Postal Service (USPS) for 28+ years. She worked in Information Technology for 17 years in a variety of analytical and managerial positions. Janet also worked in a variety of business functions at US Postal Service including Retail, Consumers, and Small Business; Marketing Systems; and Retail Operations. She held various Executive positions at USPS and was responsible for retail optimization and access management initiatives, retail service equipment programs (Point of Service, Automated Postal Center kiosks, and Vending), alternate access policies and programs, as well as retail marketing initiatives. Janet is a recipient of the prestigious Federal 100 Award – recognition for the “top 100 executives” from government, industry and academia who had the greatest impact on the government information systems community in 2004. She received the Self Service & Kiosk Industry Hall of Fame award in 2008, and she is also the recipient of the 2005 Kiosk Industry – Leader of the Year, Deployer Award. Janet is a contributing author to the 2006 Liberalization of the Postal and Delivery Sector (Chapter 16 – Economics of the U.S. Postal Service Alternate Access Retail Channels). She is a member of the KioskCom Advisory Board and is also a member of the Self Service and Kiosk Association Advisory Board. Janet was also a member of the Teradata Retail Advisory Board from 2005 through 2008.
