Russell Young joined Samsung Electronics’ Information Technology Division in June 2008 to help Samsung find ways to create new markets for the large format display business.  Russell predominantly works in a business development capacity for Samsung bringing new technologies to market in the US.  Some of the more high-profile projects include: uVending – the joint Samsung/Coca Cola vending machine and PROM – the PROactive Marketing solution with TruMedia.  Since joining Samsung, Russell has played a key role in leading projects that span the various business units within the US as well as the EMEA market.

Russell Young has been deeply involved with the Digital Signage industry for the last eight years.  As Samsung’s representative for the OVAB organization, Russell is strategically engaged with the DOOH industry leaders. 

Russell graduated from St. Leo University in Florida while carrying out an eight-year enlistment in the U.S. Navy where he served in Desert Storm and Desert Shield.  A native Texan, Russell lives in Dallas with his wife and three children.
