Brief overview of the project/technology: These 12” Consumer Screens are installed in portrait orientation, and are located in Rogers retail stores across Canada. These networked screens are updated from our Waterloo office with quarterly campaigns.
Objectives of the deployment or the technology:
The objectives for this channel are to empower, educate & inform customers, by providing them relevant information regarding the newest consumer phones. This allows the Rogers customer the ability to gather key features of the phone independently if desired. Digital allows us to swap out information quickly & easily, making print material less necessary. Relaying specific information about promotions & plans that relate to the featured devices make this a very useful tool for Rogers to communicate with their customers.
The client was very pleased with the design and delivery of the content provided. It aligned with not only the national mass advertising campaign but the need to effectively advertise in-store a range of innovative products during the busy retail season.

Approximately 75 locations with 2 screens per location - deployed across Canada in Rogers Wireless re-design stores.

Overall, I think there is an aesthetic appeal to the store/department. The content seems simple enough to manage on a 12" screen (meaning there isn't too much copy - the imagery is helping tell the story. Good work there.)
The simple messaging in a good balance of imagery and animated text provides an excellent pace to capture attention and hold the viewer to allow the messaging to fulfill its role. The addition of features such as the light "sparkles" would distinguish the display in the cell phone retail environment. A truly excellent spot.
